GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- A new company can put a sparkle in any
smile, and it all started right in Grand Junction. Smile Sparks is a
Grand Junction-based business that is gaining attention across the
country.
Their line of tooth crystals includes five Swarovski crystals inside every package, along with all the necessary parts to adhere the accessory to your teeth.
“We love making people smile,” said Nate Gill, owner of Smile Sparks.
Gill says he has always wanted to own and operate his own business, and just months ago, he handed in his work keys and started on a new adventure.
“I absolutely love it,” said Gill. “I love being an entrepreneur and making my own decisions and choosing my own destiny.”
Through his beauty product, the Grand Junction resident has given people across the country another reason to show off their pearly whites.
“What's fantastic about Smile Sparks is that they are temporary tooth crystals,” said Gill. “You don't have to schedule an appointment at the dentist office to get one on. You merely apply it with the dental adhesive, and it comes with a little blue UV light, and it lasts you up to two weeks.”
Teens, like Gill’s 18-year-old daughter, Kia Gill, says it draws positive attention in a distinctive way.
“It’s not like all the silly fads that are going around right now,” said Kia Gill. “I feel like it makes me an individual and makes me feel good about my smile.”
Consumers aren't the only ones happy about the product. Since the recent business owner has teamed up with seven local shops to get the new project off the ground, he is spreading the wealth around the area.
“Our goal is to drive here in the Grand Valley,” said Gill. “We want to grow the business and get more employees and to bring capital here into the valley so we can all prosper.”
Although the business has only been around for a short period of time, Gill says it’s already proving to be successful.
Smile Sparks is also looking for the new face of their packaging. All you have to do is send a photo of yourself sporting the crystals to be entered into the contest.
